The Story So Far…

Originally meeting at a UniSA open day in late 2010, Karen and Adrian became fast friends the following year when their class schedules had a chance overlap. Working together as class mates they came to find trust and reliability in each other that helped transition their friendship to a relationship.

Fast forward some seven years and two fur-babies later, Adrian takes “the pack” out to Wagtails Country Retreat where he’d secretly arranged his proposal to Karen.

Karen was under the impression it was a special day out with the kids, and nothing more, until it came to meal time. She reached into the picnic bag and pulled out the dogs’ dinner to find hidden beneath the food . . . a jar of fairy lights illuminating the words “Will you marry me?”. Reacting to the surprise, Karen turned to find Adrian on one knee, the park now aglow with fairy lights where “the question” was finally asked!

Eleven months of hard-core planning later, Karen and Adrian are eagerly awaiting the 4th of January 2020, when amongst family, friends and their precious pack they will officially forge their loving relationship into a loving marriage.
